Senior Software Engineer

What we are looking for:

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineers to join our engineering team at PeopleGoal. PeopleGoal is an employee experience platform (EXP) in the enterprise SaaS space.

All developers are hands on with coding and release new code every week. You will be expected to code across the technology stack: Ruby, Javascript (React) and be familiar with Linux. You will oversee a team of developers and lead the release of new features on a bi-weekly basis. You will be responsible for triaging issues and overseeing key roll-outs and upgrades across the technology stack.

We're a small startup with a big reach, so you'll be able to have a huge impact. Working at PeopleGoal means there's a lot to be done, but also autonomy, flexibility, and a clear mandate to tackle big problems.

Responsibilities:

• Own key feature roll-outs including development and deployment phases
• Manage and empower your team of developers
• Conduct code review and jump in on problem solving
• Ideate new features with the product team
• Own the tech stack - front-end or back-end

Requirements:

• Passionate about making products people love
• Knowledge of the web, HTTP, Modern Javascript, React, Ruby, Linux
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• You stay up to date with the latest web technologies
• Understanding that roles are flexible and willing to take on new opportunities as PeopleGoal grows!
